About the event

Southern Cross Round the Bays is New Zealand's most popular fun run, with tens of thousands of Aucklanders hitting the waterfront for an 8.4km course around the Waitematā Harbour bays. A true community event — runners, walkers, families, and fitness fanatics all share the road. The flat coastal route, festive finish, and harbour views make it the perfect introduction to event running.
